Strategic storytelling amplifying ADACAS impact
ADACAS is a trusted not-for-profit championing the rights of people with disability, people experiencing mental illhealth, older Australians, and their carers across Canberra and the NSW South Coast. They empower individuals and drive systemic change.
We partnered with ADACAS to create an Impact Report that truly resonated with their stakeholders. Their vision was a report that not only demonstrated outcomes and strategic direction but also told the real stories of change.
Our Approach:
We took a phased, highly collaborative approach that was grounded by ADACAS’s strategic goals and commitment to lived experience.
We established a Working Group, bringing together staff, leaders, and people with lived experience to shape direction and content.
We facilitated Theory of Change & Logic Model workshops.
We analysed data and stories from across programs, identifying outcomes that matter most to clients and stakeholders.
We leveraged our expertise in peer-led, rights-based services ensuring the report reflected individual and systemic impact.
The Outcome:
The Impact Report we delivered, highlighted contributions to systemic reform, community education, and lived experience. Stakeholders described it “authentic, inspiring, and actionable”.
Our Reflection:
This project was more than reporting - it was also about embedding an impact mindset and building internal capability. We helped ADACAS tell its story with clarity, care, and strategic rigour.
“The Centre for Impact & Change helped us reimagine what our reporting could be. They listened deeply, asked the right questions, and brought our impact to life in a way that honours both our clients and our vision.”
